LinkSensor semantically analyzes blog posts or articles on-the-fly and highlights key concepts in the text.
When the user's mouse is over a highlighted word, a small balloon shows up suggesting other articles from the blog related to the word, or a relevant ad.
Highlighted words represent key concepts of the article, therefore the user is likely to see a value in viewing their contextual links.
Key terms which we extract from the page allow the advertiser to select an ad which is relevant to the content of the page.
Contextually-relevant ad is likely to attract the user attention, maximizing the advertiser's revenue.
We have a real-time API to send you the extracted words from a page so that you select a matching ad on your end.
We can also implement the ad-matching on our end.
By navigating to other relevant posts, the user will discover more pages and spend more time on your site.
This may directly result in higher ad revenue, or make your blog eligible to get bigger advertisers.
If you have more than one blog or site, you can redirect the users from one to another, all within the context of your post!

Double-underlined words are the concepts identified by LinkSensor in the story.
The balloon displays links to other articles related to "iPhone" from the same blog.
Download a Firefox add-on and see how it works on your blog or others.
We support Wordpress, Blogger, TypePad, MovableType, LiveJournal, BlogSmith, Drupal, MySpace, Gawker, and other blogging platforms, and can usually quickly configure support for another platform.
After the installation, navigate to a blog and select "LinkSensor" in the browser "Tools" menu or from the mouse right-click menu.
Up to 3 concepts are identified in a post, and each occurrence of a concept in the text is highlighted.
On a multi-post page, the concepts are highlighted only within the first post on the page.
All of these settings are configurable - for example, LinkSensor can be set up to highlight only one occurrence of a word per post.
If you are an advertiser, contact us about the implementation.
Get a version of LinkSensor that shows related posts from up to 4 blogs, showing matching results from each in a separate tab.
For example, rather than losing a visitor after he reads through your post, you have a chance to navigate him to your other venue - perhaps with a higher eCPM.
To see this in the Firefox extension, navigate to a blog and choose "LinkSensor Tabs" in the browser "Tools" menu or from the mouse right-click menu.
The first tab in the balloon is populated by related posts from the blog you are viewing, and the second tab with Yahoo search results.
All tabs can be yours!
The screenshot on the right shows a multi-tabbed LinkSensor balloon on an article.
Double-underlined words are the concepts identified by LinkSensor in the story.
The first tab of the balloon displays links to other articles from the same blog related to the concept "videos".
Three other tabs can be populated with related links from other blogs or sites.
We have an enterprise version of LinkSensor that can be installed on your own servers.
The product can be customized to meet any additional requirements.
